Account data
When you sign in with Google, Clario stores the account details needed to operate the product, including your name, email address, avatar, Google-linked identity reference, credits balance, timezone, default export settings, and account timestamps.
We also use session and authentication data to keep you signed in to the dashboard and secure account access.
Cookies and similar technologies
Clario uses essential sign-in cookies and on-device browser storage for drafts, settings, and any AI keys you enter. Clario does not currently run its own analytics or ad cookies.
Because these cookies and similar storage technologies are used to provide secure sign-in and core product functionality, Clario currently treats them as essential. If Clario later adds optional analytics or advertising cookies, the product should request opt-in before enabling them.
Local browser storage
Clario stores your current draft, selected template, FPS choice, Claude API key, and Google Gemini API key in browser local storage on the device you are using.
That local data stays on your device until you change it, remove it from Settings, or clear site storage in your browser.
Exports, projects, and uploads
When you queue an export, Clario stores an export job record and a snapshot of the video spec. That snapshot can include your title, scene text, timings, styling choices, media URLs, and audio settings.
If you upload images, video, logos, voice recordings, audio, or generated music, those files are stored at Clario-hosted paths so the editor, preview, and renderer can access them. Individual uploads larger than 20 MB may be rejected.
AI providers and API keys
Clario does not persist your Claude or Gemini API keys in its backend databases.
When you use AI generation or music generation, the relevant key and request content are sent through Clario's server-side integration route to the selected provider, such as Anthropic or Google, so the feature can run.
Payments and billing data
Credit purchases are processed through Dodo Payments. Clario stores purchase records such as pack ID, credits, amount, currency, checkout ID, payment ID, status, timestamps, and billing metadata returned by the provider.
Clario does not store full card numbers or full payment instrument details in its own databases.
Why Clario processes data
Clario processes account, upload, export, and billing data to provide the service you request, including sign-in, draft handling, rendering, downloads, and credit purchases.
Clario may also process limited operational data for legitimate interests such as securing accounts, preventing abuse, debugging failures, enforcing service limits, and maintaining reliable product operations.
Processors and international transfers
Clario relies on third-party providers such as Google for sign-in and AI features, Anthropic for AI requests when you choose that provider, and Dodo Payments for checkout and billing flows.
Depending on your location and the provider involved, your data may be processed outside your home country. Clario only shares the data needed for the requested feature or transaction and relies on the provider's own contractual and security measures where required.
Retention
Rendered MP4 files are stored temporarily for download and are scheduled to expire after about 2 hours. After expiry, the file is removed and the export job remains as account history and metadata.
Uploaded source assets used in an export may be deleted after a successful render when those files are no longer referenced by another saved draft or another queued or processing export job.
Account records, purchase records, export metadata, and other operational records may remain longer for product operations, billing, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and service continuity.
Your privacy controls
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with similar privacy rights, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal data Clario controls. Where Clario relies on consent in the future, you can also withdraw that consent.
You can change locally stored AI keys at any time from dashboard Settings and clear browser site data to remove local drafts from the current device.
If you do not want Clario to store new export or billing records, you should stop using export and purchase features before creating new jobs or purchases.
